carry out my work behind a screen. I those such moments, I experienced a craving for knowlege, whether it were shortcuts to certain actions or experimenting with the computer and it's programs as well. When the time came to present some of my handiwork to my professors, I realised that I had developed a skill towards improving my work and presenting it to an audience (which was then a classroom). I was used to engaging projects on Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, Paint, and other such programs which were prevelant in the everyday household, and using the occasional clipart to spruce up my ordinary work. 

I was struck near the end of my fifth grade school year that I was contained in a creative bubble but I was never able to puncture it and unleash my full potential. I came upon a popular school which had a Technology Production magnet and they were accepting people like me, who had a thirst for information. I was accepted after interviewing and thus, my wish was fulfilled and I was placed in a class with peers alike me whom all had to work to achieve a common goal, excel. We quickly learned the basics of an Adobe program dubbed Photoshop which quicly became one of my favorite programs. We studied its tools and mechanics which we later used in future  

projects to hone our skills beyond our years. I gained two certifications in IC3 under the wing of our instructor, Mr. Pate who gave us all a chance to improve ourselves and strive for the best. We have learned much of Photoshop, in Final Cut Pro we have edited interviews we shot ourselves. Using Lightroom we enhanced the quality of an image, and working with Premier we made soundtracks. So far, there is still much to learn in the second year we are in this maget program, but it allowed us to experience much we have never been introduced to. So far, I am still hooked and interested and have yet to learn, although much has been taught.
